IMPORTANT
INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR SAVINGS ACCOUNT
Federal regulations do not allow members to automatically
debit (that is automatically have money withdrawn from) savings
accounts to pay utility bills, life insurance bills, PayPal accounts,
etc. If a member is going to automatically debit an account, they can
ONLY automatically debit their draft (checking) account. Members may
automatically have money credited (that is deposited) to their savings
accounts.
IMPORTANT
INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR CHECKING ACCOUNT
Federal regulation D states that we can allow no more than
six
overdraft transfers from your savings account in a calendar month. This
applies to transfers we make from savings to checking to cover an
overdraft item. Funds transferred before a negative balance occurs
would not count. After the sixth transfer from savings to checking to
cover an overdraft item, we will pay the item if funds are available.
However, we will be required to charge a $25.00 excessive transfer fee
for each item paid after the sixth transfer. IMPORTANT
INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and
money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial
institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies
each person who opens an account. What this means
to you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address,
date of birth, and other information (at least your taxpayer
identification number) that will allow us to identify you. We may also
ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.
